Many people have jewellery with a story that has been in a box for years. They are no longer worn, but the emotional value remains. In my studio, I like to reshape these materials. Reworking existing gold creates jewellery that fits who you are today without losing the story of the past. Restoring and customising heirlooms is a personal decision: we bring your precious memories back to life and add a new chapter to them.<\/p>\n
Recycling gold and gemstones is personal and meaningful. Heirlooms carry a wealth of memories; every scratch and dent tells a story. By matching the gold and stones to your current style, we can continue to treasure that history in a form you love to wear. Consider wedding rings from parents, a ring that no longer fits or a piece of jewellery that no longer matches your current style. Together, we will create something new that suits your taste.<\/p>\n
During an orientation meeting, we review your existing jewellery. I assess the gold, its quality, karat and any gemstones and explain what is technically possible. Existing gemstones can sometimes be reset; if that is not possible, we will look at a gemstone from my collection. An experienced goldsmith can incorporate an old brooch into a modern necklace or put vintage gemstones into a new design. Sometimes I melt the existing gold and cast it into a new form, giving the material a new life.<\/p>\n
The design is created within my writing and in consultation with you. My style has a classic base, pronounced colour combinations and granules as a distinctive detail. I pay attention to wearing comfort, sophistication and balance. I perform every part of the process myself: from melting and shaping to precise stone setting. This allows me to carefully work out every detail and maintain quality.<\/p>\n
The result is a piece of jewellery that feels familiar because it comes from a material with a history, yet has a look that suits these times and you. You are not only wearing a beautiful piece, but also a story that continues. Thus, precious gold once again becomes a part of your daily life.<\/p>\n
