A memory jewelry is a way to keep someone who is missed close by. It is a tangible form of love, a symbol that honors a life and carries a story. In my studio in Beltrum, I design and make memorial jewelry with attention, peace and respect for your story.<\/p>\n
A memorial jewelry does not have to contain ashes. Often the design arises from materials that already have a history. Consider:
– gold from jewelry worn by a parent, grandparent or partner
– gemstones that can be reused
– a shape or color that refers to a person’s personality
– A design that reveals a memory or symbolism<\/p>\n
Reworking existing material preserves its emotional value and gives it a new, wearable form.<\/p>\n
If you would like to have ashes processed, you can do so in a safe and sustainable way. For this, I make a completely soldered space so that the shaft remains protected. I deliberately do not work with epoxy resin because it discolors over time and is not durable. Ash incorporation is a possibility when it fits the jewelry you have in mind.<\/p>\n
Creating a memory jewelry takes time and rest. That’s why I like to listen to your story and what matters to you. Sometimes the essence is in a small reference: a detail, a color, a shape or a subtle symbolism. Step by step, a design emerges that suits you and does justice to the memory you want to carry.<\/p>\n
