Inside out

Inside Out, translated into Dutch. And that is precisely the sensation I experienced during the creation of this collection.

My work has been characterized for years using tiny dots known as granules. They are an indispensable part of my jewellery and integral to my identity as a goldsmith and designer. However, lately, I have felt stuck in my approach to granules. It became monotonous, and the challenge seemed to have disappeared, so I decided to metaphorically turn myself inside out to find an innovative way to apply these granules.

What started with a pendant featuring a drop-shaped Tahiti pearl has evolved into a beautiful collection of colour and diversity. This new approach feels not only fitting but also symbolic because the granules are now literally on the inside of my creations—a reflection of the transformation I underwent to find renewal.
