Meaningful remembrance jewellery

Some jewellery carries a more profound meaning – it helps you hold someone who is missed close. In my studio, I design and create memorial jewellery that gives ashes a thoughtful and respectful place. Each design is made in consultation, with attention to your story and the emotions that accompany it.

Options for processing ashes

There are several ways to incorporate ashes into a piece of jewellery. You can choose an invisible or visible compartment, on the inside or outside of a ring. Ashes can also be placed in a pendant or earring. I also offer the option of storing ashes in a sealed compartment beneath a gemstone. I never position ashes directly behind a gemstone because settings are not completely watertight. If moisture enters, the ashes can compress and may not be preserved as well. Therefore, I always create a carefully sealed space that safely contains the ashes and preserves the memory permanently.

Sustainable and secure techniques

I am frequently asked if I work with epoxy resin. I consciously refrain from doing this because I know from experience that it is not a sustainable solution. An enclosed space provides precisely the security and tranquillity that are so important for this type of jewellery. Within this technique, there are countless possibilities to create a personal and unique piece of jewellery.
