Meet Elevance – a collection where elegance, colour and comfort come together.
This ring is a special piece within the collection. It was one of the very first Elevance rings, even before the collection was given that name. During a shopping trip to London, a striking, bright pink gemstone immediately caught my attention – an oval sapphire with a hint of orange, like a small, sparkly candy.
Sapphire is known for its versatile colours. Although many people know it primarily in blue, sapphire also comes in shades of pink, yellow, green and even purple. This pink-orange variety has a warm, vibrant glow that changes subtly each time under different light. The intensity of this colour is rare, making this ring a unique piece, with no second existing.
The ring is crafted from 14kt yellow gold and finished with small gold granules – a detail that gives the ring its signature, playful elegance. The hardness of sapphire (9 on the Mohs scale) makes this gemstone excellent for daily wear.
This ring has been sold and cannot be replicated because this particular sapphire is no longer available. I can, however, just look for a similar gemstone with its own character and hue—something in the same vein, but never quite the same.
The ring is formed from round wire with a thickness of 2 mm, providing a comfortable fit that wears comfortably all day long. The Elevance rings are beautiful to wear solo and can also be effortlessly combined into a personal composition of colours and shapes.
What also makes this collection special is that it can also serve as inspiration for a personal design. Sometimes a ring from the collection is the starting point for a new piece of jewellery, made from existing gold that holds a memory. This creates something unique: a new design with a familiar meaning.
