Terms and conditions – Sarah Kobak Goldsmith
Welcome to Sarah Kobak Goldsmith. These terms and conditions ensure a fair and transparent shopping experience. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1) General
- All prices include 21% VAT.
- After receipt of payment, your order will be processed.
- You will be notified when your order is ready or shipped.
- Shipping within the Netherlands is via Mikropakket, always registered and insured. The cost is $15.75 per order. For orders over €500, shipping within the Netherlands is free.
- DHL Express is used for foreign shipments; charges are calculated during the ordering process.
- Collection in my studio is possible by appointment.
- Orders will be delivered within 30 days at the latest, unless a longer period is agreed upon.
2) Delivery times
Delivery time may vary by item:
- Stock (without adjustment): shipping within 7 days after payment.
- In stock, but customized to ring size or other size: shipping within 21 days.
- Full customization (commission or custom collection): shipping within 30 days.
3) Online purchases (web shop)
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. Within this period, you can return the jewellery.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Jewellery made especially for you (customization).
- Jewelry from the collection customized to your personal size, such as:
- A ring made larger or smaller,
- A necklace that has been lengthened or shortened,
- Earrings adjusted to a different length or attachment.
- Repairs and edits to existing jewelry.
Return Procedure
- Report a return in advance at info@sarahkobak.nl or 06-28610520.
- The costs of the return shipment are for your account.
- You are responsible for safe return shipping. Damage or loss during shipment is the customer’s responsibility.
- Return the jewellery unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging, registered post with invoice to:
S. Kobak, Meester Nelissenstraat 33, 7156 MB Beltrum
(Do not mention words like silversmith, jeweler or jewellery on the packaging). - Within 14 days of cancellation, you will receive a refund of the purchase price including any return shipping costs.
Sale
The right of withdrawal of 14 days also applies to webshop purchases in the Sale, except for customization, size adjustments or repairs.
4) Purchases in the studio
Purchases made in my studio are not subject to a legal right of withdrawal. Exchanges or credit are only possible by mutual agreement and out of consideration.
For Sale in the studio: no right to exchange or return.
5) Warranty and quality
All my jewelry is covered by the legal warranty: the product must meet what you can reasonably expect from it. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, please contact me so we can find an appropriate solution together.
The warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear due to use,
- damage caused by improper use or maintenance,
- discoloration or changes due to contact with cosmetics, detergents or acids.
I provide advice on how to wear and care for your jewellery at the time of purchase. Following this advice is the responsibility of the client.
6) Customization and payments
A deposit may be required for custom orders. The remaining amount must be paid before delivery of the jewelry.
7) Complaints and disputes
If you are not satisfied, always contact me first. I am happy to work with you to find a solution.
I am a member of the Federation of Gold and Silver (FGZ) and at the FGZ Disputes Committee. This means that you can also go to an independent commission in case of disputes.
