14K gold ring with terra-coloured tourmaline
As you know, I am crazy about gemstones and pearls. I secretly prefer tourmalines because they come in such a beautiful range of colours, shine and details.
Take, for example, this 14kt yellow gold ring with a tourmaline like I’ve never seen it before. I had to check with my supplier whether this was tourmaline because I didn’t believe it at first.
This colour is somewhere between pink, will, orange and terra. And the light also plays an essential factor in this: with artificial light, it looks more orange, and in daylight, it looks pinker. And then I haven’t even mentioned the beautiful inclusions in this tourmaline. Inclusions give the gem just that little bit more character. The gemstone once started underground, and in that process, some factors ensured that beautiful inclusions grew in this gemstone piece.
The ring is made of 14 kt yellow gold, and the band is hammered, creating a beautifully fitting motif. In addition to the tourmaline, I applied my style granules.
The entire ring is made by hand, melting down the gold to rolling out and making each granule piece by piece.
A unique ring, because I will not be able to find a second one like this tourmaline.
I also have this 18 kt yellow gold model ring with a stunning green tourmaline. Curious? Then click here.
