When I saw the cord for this necklace, the name of the necklace immediately caught my eye: Cleopatra. This brought me to the fascinating story of Cleopatra, who, according to tradition, dissolved a pearl in vinegar during a banquet with Mark Antony as the ultimate symbol of luxury and power. This extraordinary story with accompanying stunning painting, inspired me to incorporate a solid gold pearl into the design as a reference to the lost pearl from the legend. The Cleopatra Necklace is therefore a celebration of femininity and beauty, reflecting the strength and elegance that so characterized Cleopatra.

About Akoya Pearls
Akoya pearls are known for their beautiful luster and classic look. They are mainly grown in Japan and are loved for their round shape and subtle beauty. The Akoya pearls in this necklace are approximately 6-7 mm in diameter, exuding a sophisticated and timeless charm.
